  Recently, thanks to English Comedy in Paris, I had the pleasure of attending a remarkable comedy show that left me in stitches. The Coucou Comedy Showcase, an English-language stand-up comedy event, offered an unforgettable and laughter-filled evening that will undoubtedly please comedy enthusiasts.


Nestled in the heart of the vibrant 10th arrondissement, the legendary Le Kibele played host to this extraordinary event. Renowned for its pulsating music scene, this venue seamlessly transitions into a hub for captivating comedy performances. Combining Parisian charm with international humor, Le Kibele provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of comedic brilliance

      The roster of comedians for the night comprised a diverse range of comedic talent, each bringing their unique style and perspective to the stage. Luke Charles, Sadra Summer, Yanqi Cao, Omar, and Victoria Gatopoulos showcased their comedic prowess, ensuring there was something to suit every comedy aficionado’s taste. Whether you crave observational humor, witty one-liners, or offbeat comedy, the Coucou Comedy Showcase delivered an exceptional selection of performers. Hosting the event was the charismatic and hilarious Anna Beth, an American comedian who has been making waves in the French comedy scene.


   Stepping into Le Kibele, one is instantly immersed in an electric atmosphere. The intimate setting of the stage downstairs fosters a profound connection between the performers and the audience, creating an engaging and unforgettable experience. Moreover, the upstairs bar caters to patrons’ refreshment needs, offering a wide selection of beverages throughout the show.


      As summer takes hold, special stand-up shows have been organized on Thursdays at Kibele Paris, located just a stone’s throw away from the New Morning. These events are part of Blast Off Comedy’s pop-up English comedy club. Doors open at 9 pm, with the show commencing at 9:30 pm. Entry to the show is free with the purchase of a drink, and a brief descent downstairs leads attendees to the comedy club. Other venues are Le Noddi, Broadway Comedy Club, La Scène Barbès, Voie 15…
